Modifying game files carries inherent risk. Our guides tell you to back up saves and files before changing anything, and you should. Content is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Games, launchers, and patches change constantly; a step that was accurate when written may stop being accurate. Third-party software and links

We link to third-party patches, mods, and tools made by their respective authors. We don’t host them, control them, or guarantee them. Download third-party software at your own judgement, from the official source linked.

Anti-cheat and terms of service

Some fixes and mods are not appropriate for online play. Where a guide touches an online game, we flag anti-cheat considerations, but you are responsible for complying with each game’s terms of service.
